Yes.
The primary booking guest must generally be at least 25 years old and must remain at the property throughout the reservation.
Because Southern Serenity is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is intended primarily for family vacations, multigenerational gatherings, and similar groups. Reservations made solely for student groups, large parties, or events are not permitted.
We understand there can be exceptions for families, married couples, military service members, and other mature groups traveling together. In certain situations, exceptions may be considered at our discretion, particularly when a parent or responsible adult is actively involved in the reservation and willing to accept financial responsibility for the stay.

Are there security cameras at Southern Serenity?
Yes. Southern Serenity has exterior security cameras located on the exterior of the property to help protect guests, neighbors, and the home. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private interior spaces.
The property also uses occupancy and noise monitoring technology that does not record conversations or audio. It simply measures noise and occupancy levels to help ensure compliance with Town regulations and neighborhood quiet hours.

To help you enjoy your time on the beach, Southern Serenity includes:

Will we see wildlife?
Yes. Southwest Florida is home to a variety of native wildlife, and encountering it is part of the experience of visiting a barrier island.
Guests frequently enjoy seeing dolphins, manatees, shorebirds, pelicans, ospreys, and other coastal wildlife during their visit.
As with any natural environment, we encourage guests to observe wildlife from a respectful distance and never feed wild animals.
Is smoking permitted?
To keep Southern Serenity fresh and comfortable for all guests, smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home.
Guests who choose to smoke may do so outdoors, away from open doors and windows. We simply ask that cigarette butts and related materials be disposed of properly—not in landscaping, planters, or around the pool area.
If excessive cigarette debris requires additional cleaning after departure, an extra cleanup fee may apply.
